No solid plans at the moment. But if anyone out there knows Android and wants to help out with Dark Nova, we’d love to hear from you!

Just a comment, I followed a link from the original Space Trader page, and it suggested the game was free under GPL, but on the iPhone Store here in Japan, it shows as 115yen.
So – is it pay for everywhere?

For what it’s worth, I second the motion for an Android port. I’m not a developer, but I’ll post around on some developer forums and see if I can drum up some interest.

We’re getting a lot of requests to port Dark Nova to Android. We don’t have the resources to do it right now but we’re going to start a donation drive to get things rolling. If we reach our target of $5K we’ll do the port and make it freely available to all Android users for 1 year!

The code is open sourced under the GPLv2. It’s available at https://code.google.com/p/darknova-iphone
The iPhone app is for sale in the Apple store.

Wow… I beta tested the original space trader on the Palm OS many years ago and it makes me extremely happy to see it on the iPhone… brings me back a bajillion years!
